  • You’ll be able to use what you get from a Strength & Fitness routine to improve your ability to hike, carry groceries, lift up the kids, work around the house or your job, and feel better.
  • Every one of NapTown’s growing staff are either Strength & Fitness Coaches or Trainers. Staff take classes as much as they coach them.
  • Everyone regardless of their background, profession, and fitness level cheers everyone on. That means you’ll push yourself harder and further than you ever thought you could or would have otherwise.

In each 45 minute class you will be taken through a brief warm-up, review of the movements in our daily workout, and then pushed to your limits for a high intensity cardio and strength workout. We maximize efforts by minimizing time chatting, standing around and teaching complex movements.

Join us for weekly donation yoga classes suitable for all experience levels! Pay what you can or pay nothing at all. We aren't tracking receipts, but just hoping to provide a weekly class in which everyone, regardless of financial ability or physical ability, are able to practice together.

OUTDOOR - Wellness Walking Meditation Club $18 per classPlans available from $68No purchase required to enroll

Welcome to our 'all bodies welcome- wellness walking club!' This club is an invitation that yoga is for every BODY and it doesn't have to look like tying yourself in a pretzel to be yoga. Led by an instructor, we will take a socially distant walk including a meditation portion and a conversation element woven in. This is a time to connect with yourself and others, to turn inward and explore outward at a gentle pace. Lace up your walking shoes and meet us outside our building for a COVID safe yoga activity that's great for every BODY. Should there be inclement weather, this class will be moved indoors to our spacious, upstairs platforms and we will make it a more traditional meditation (masks will then be required), but still available to all bodies!

Looking to deepen your practice but not interested in becoming a yoga teacher? This course is a 5 class series, or you can join in for one topic at a time. For the History portion we will be discussing yoga's roots, key literature, concepts and vocabulary. Come with an open mind and as we travel back to our roots.

In the breath segment, we will focus on what pranayama (breath) is, how to control it utilizing different techniques and how to incorporate pranayama into our current yoga practice.

**If you are pregnant, certain pranayama techniques will not be appropriate for you to practice. The instructor will advise during class, but be aware.

In the posture segment, we will focus on key postures in the 'Modern Vinyasa Yoga System'. We will focus on alignment, benefits, contraindications and methods on how to improve each.

During the energy segment, we will discuss chakras- what they are, what they mean and how to utilize them in our practice. We will also discuss mudras, bandhas and other means to draw and control your energy spheres.

Yoga: Spirit Journey

Part philosophy, part asana, part meditation, part pranayama. Expect a full soul cleansing and an in depth practice of at least 4 of the 8 limbs of the yogic path.

**If this is labeled Level 2/3 or 3, it will be physically demanding. This level is Intended to be for serious practitioners who want to push the edge of their asana practice. Recommended at least 3-5 years practice, a solid inversion practice (headstand, forearm stand and/or handstand) and willing to take risks.

Enjoy the sweat and movement of a vinyasa flow with a little more emphasis on alignment. Alignment cues and short explained demos will allow for you to work more challenging poses into the sequence and create a greater understanding of mechanics, alignment, strength and surrender as you build your practice. These principals can be applied to any level yogi, whether you are in class for the first time or an experienced practitioner.

Practice Indie's yin yoga class. Yin is long, held postures that encourage you to explore your physical and mental edge. Unlike Restorative yoga, postures are not as supported through props which will require the body to truly release and surrender. This can be a mentally and physically challenging practice - not because of muscular endurance, but because of the mental/ physical strength it takes to let go.

Defy gravity and feel like a BOSS yoga warrior doing it. Aerial yoga is a wonderful way to decompress the spine, work on inversions without fear, deepen stretches in unique ways and build strength. We recommend that you have been practicing yoga for at least 6 months before doing this class. You will want to understand basic yoga cueing before taking it off of the ground.

If you have balance challenges, have limited mobility from the waist down, or simply want to learn the postures from a more stable place, this class is for you! This class will be interactive as we will suit the needs of those who show up, and use chairs as a primary prop to assist with each pose. Throughout the class we may expand the difficulty and intensity as you grow familiar and confident, but will continue to offer modifications based off of the students who show up. Come with an open heart and mind and be prepared to engage in the process of what works for you… oh, and bring a chair!

This class will focus on moon salutations which tend to be more cyclical, grounding and fluid flows. Prepare to move, sweat a bit, stretch deeply and prepare for bedtime with these intoxicating salutations to the moon. With class taking place outside, in the chance of inclement weather this class will move indoors to our platforms where there is still plenty of airflow and a fan, however we will require masks upon entry of the building.

Students can expect a slow start and a strong finish with this class. Expect to start out with more restorative postures and eventually make your way through vigorous flows that focus on strengthening the body by holding postures for longer than you would normally in a flow and go class. Leave feeling happy, loose, inspired, invigorated, open, and light filled.

MOVE is a 45-minute class where you can expect to be moving for most of the class. Workouts are longer and full of bodyweight movements, cardio machines, and lightweight dumbbells or kettlebells. The workouts are created ahead of time but are not published beforehand so you are in for a surprise every time you show up to class! These workouts are not programmed around CrossFit or SWIFT so be mindful of how your body is feeling after a MOVE class as you head into a new week of fitness!
