Thoughtful adjustments and hands on assists are an important and rapidly disappearing skill when it comes to the yoga room these days. The pendulum has swung from the days of sitting on the kurmasana of a student in order to flatten them out, to attempts at guiding through only words. This workshop will give both experienced teachers and those newer to the front of the room, the format to turn any shape into an opportunity for deep physical and energetic dialogue. We will discuss the ground rules of adjusting, how to set and work from clear intention, how to see the bodies in front of you and unpack what you can do to be of service, and even explore some of classic and funky adjustments to add to your tool box.
